The principal of the Global Program Ventures Group is Harry E. Mahon. Mr. Mahon brings over 25 years of experience and knowledge to the Global Program Ventures Group. His experience includes positions in video program distribution at EUE/Screen Gems, AT&T, GTE Spacenet, and Vice President, Worldwide Video Services at INTELSAT.
Recent work has included M&A activity, the creation and management of ArtsDC.com, the creation and production of ArtsMedia News, that aired on MHz Networks, and media productions for the National Gallery of Art, the Corcoran Gallery of Art and Cultural Tourism DC.
Mr. Mahon holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Park School of Communications at Ithaca College and was one of the early participants in the New York University Interactive Telecommunications Masters Program. In addition, Mr. Mahon is active in the community, having served as President of the Northern Virginia Fine Arts Association, member of the Historic Alexandria Resources Commission, the Alexandria Arts Forum, the Alexandria Consumer Affairs Commission, the Alexandria Cable Commission and served as a soccer coach.
